The nation's second biggest cell phone supplier, Indosat, has rejected affirmations of cartel practices made by the business rivalry guard dog in its preparatory examination, an organization representative has said.
"The affirmations of cartel practices against Indosat Ooredoo are untrue. Our business has never been included with such practices," Deva Rachman GH Corp Communications Indosat Ooredoo told The Jakarta Post on Friday.
Business Competition Supervisory Commission (KPPU) head Syarkawi Rauf said before that a team was directing a preparatory examination concerning suspected cartel rehearses conferred by broadcast communications administrators XL Axiata and Indosat Ooredoo.
"We are as yet gathering data. Our center is to scrutinize the rationale of setting up the joint wander One Indonesia Synergy [OIS]," Syarkawi said on Thursday.
Deva contended that OIS's had been built up through meeting with the KPPU to guarantee the organization did not disregard the principles of rivalry, as expressed in Law No. 5/1999.
"The [previous] discussion inferred that PT OIS had not damaged the law," she said, including that Indosat Ooredoo had complied with all controls and connected great corporate administration standards.
